1. To whom we issue Pre-admission Letter

Applicants who are going to apply Chinese Government Scholarship（CGS） Type A Bilateral Program/ ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship （ACYLS）/ EU Program/ AUN Program/ China-Africa Friendship Program, etc, through dispatching authorities for overseas study in your home country for CGS opportunities to study at ECUST.

Please note:

* If apply for  Chinese language training of undergraudate programs , HSK 3 with a score of 180 or above must be provided;

* There is no need for applicants who apply CGS Type-B Programs （Belt &Road, High-level Postgraduate  Program） to request the Pre-admission Letter.

2. How to apply 

（1）Visit ies.ecust.edu.cn to view 2026 ECUST admission guide for your target program, apply online, pay the registration fee （600 RMB for degree and 400 RMB for non-degree programs）

（2）Email to cie@ecust.edu.cn, indicate in the subject: “Application number, Program, Pre-admission Letter”, e.g. 20260100001, Master, Pre-admission Letter.

（3）University will issue Pre-admission Letter via email if you  pass the review （usually within 2 weeks after submitting the application）.

（4）Visit campuschina.org to submit the online application, select ECUST for Application Institution I, submit all your application documents to the dispatching authorities before the deadline.
