2021 ECUST Spring Chinese Live Program

Located in Xuhui District, Shanghai, East China University of Science and Technology （ECUST） has 70 years’ expertise in international students cultivation and possesses 15 years’ professional Chinese teaching experience. As one of the official HSK test center in China, ECUST organizes HSK tests every year for certification of students’ Chinese language level. Various long-term and short-term Chinese language and traditional culture programs are also available all year round.

Program Features

A. Online live interactive Chinese courses.

B. Listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities improved equably.

C. The class will be open for the minimum of 5 attendants and the maximum of 25.

D. Lots of excellent Chinese teachers study with you.

E. Adequate class hours for the solid foundation and polishing of intercultural communication competence.

F. Provide scholarships for current students.

G. Priority for admission to ECUST undergraduate or postgraduate programs.

H. Certificate and transcript （with credits attached） for completion.

Program Duration

1st March, 2021 – 2nd July, 2021 （the classes will start from 8th March）.

Here have Junior Level A-B, Middle Level C-D, Advanced Level E-F classes for you.

Class Content

Class Arrangement

13:30-17:00, Beijing Time （4 teaching hours/day, 40 minutes/teaching hour, breaks included）.

20 Teaching hours per week, 18 weeks, 320 teaching hours in total.

Application Fee: RMB400（About USD61）

Tuition: RMB6500（About USD989）

Note: The application fee will be waived if the applicants have ever studied in ECUST.

Scholarship

International Chinese Language Student Scholarship of ECUST for the excellent students who already study Chinese at ECUST.

Who are Available

Non-Chinese citizens aged between 18-60 years old, in good physical and psychological health.

From now until 31st March 2021.

Register an account and log-in at http://apply.ecust.edu.cn or http://ecust.17gz.org, follow the procedure to finish the application

A. Choose ‘Self-sponsored’;

B. Choose ‘General Chinese Language （Online）’;

C. Finish the application form and submit it.

About Visa

A. Please contact the non-degree program officers in CIE for supporting visa documents to extend your visa duration if you are currently in Shanghai now.
