Physical Examination

CIE will organize new international students who have completed admission registration for autumn semester before 20th Sept. to take the physical examination at Shanghai International Travel Healthcare Center.

Those who register at other times need to get a certificate from Admission office of CIE, and take the physical examination on their own after an online reservation.

The physical examination report is necessary for resident permit application.

X2 visa, physical examination is not necessary.

X1 visa or the other type of visa

Students shall take a physical examination before applying for residence permit.

Either of the following methods can be chosen.

1. Before coming to China, have a physical examination at the local hospital or clinic with the Foreigner Physical Examination Form which is sent out by CIE together with Admission Notice and have the doctor fill up the form, sign and stamp on it. Bring the original form （including the original blood test report） to China, and verify it at Shanghai International Travel Healthcare Center to get a verification report. If the report is not qualified, students have to re-examine there.

2. After arrival in China, complete registration procedures and get a certificate from Admission office, take a physical examination at Shanghai International Travel Healthcare Center, and get the examination report in a few days.

Documents and Fees:

A. Passport （original and photocopy）

B. University Certificate （to get from Admission office of CIE）

C. 4 Passport-sized photos

D. Fees: 500RMB

E. Original Physical Examination Report issued within 6 months in your own country （if available）
